Hello, my name is Philip romani and I have a nonprofit for autism research and awareness. Each year we do a diffrent light display to raise money. I use c7’s for the whole display. I have been thinking about going fully automated for years. well this is the year I do it , if you can direct me. I don’t want to buy a big inner system or an outdated system. Can you direct me in the right direction?
Thanks
Hi Philip, I would keep your existing light plan and add pixels to it. That way, if something goes horribly wrong with the pixels, you still have the old lights to fall back on. Also, go through my Beginner playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFyrAfJ-kKd4ZfPdXWIt8v_bav61mW_KW if you haven’t already to gain a better understanding of what you’re getting into and what you’ll need. Pixels have a huge learning curve so it all depends on your background as to how quickly you’ll feel comfortable using them. I use and promote the pixel controllers from Pixelcontroller.com, but there are others that do similar things so do some research to see what fits your budget/philosophy. I have links in all my videos to forums and Facebook groups which is the best/quickest way to get help/questions answered. Good luck in your quest. 🙂
